07 Dec Anglesea Surf Lifesaving Club
Our Hotel & Hospitality Growth
The PDS Group managed Anglesea Surf Life Saving Club (ASLSC) has just reached completion!
The original facility was constructed almost 60 years ago when the Club had about 200 members. Extensions have been added over the years to account for the Club’s growing numbers, however a substantial redevelopment has become necessary as the Club currently has approximately 1,500 members.
The ASLSC building redevelopment Chair, Peter Williams, said the redeveloped clubhouse had been designed to serve the community, as well as the Club’s members. “It’s also a community facility, so it’s there for the community as well as the Club. It is there as a facility that can be used by various groups, whether for meetings, weddings, educational use and by other Clubs.”
The new clubhouse also features more accessible first aid facilities and easier ambulance access.
PDS Group Project Manager Ben Moody commented “Despite the issues caused by COVID-19, we were able to deliver the project on schedule ensuring the local community would have access to the facilities for a well-earned summer break.”
